Jenna Glumac and her husband Brad took over Milestone Lane Westerville in January 2019. Jenna is the owner and director. She has worked in child care for over 14 years, starting as a teacher and later directing a daycare in Westerville, then running an in-home daycare for six years. Their goal is a small, in-home feel with attention from every teacher, up to the owner.
Teachers are the heart of the center, so hiring and keeping strong lead teachers, assistant teachers, directors, and support staff matters. Teachers use the HighScope Curriculum to build a balance of play and learning that fosters social skills, independence, self-confidence, and self-reliance. The center offers annual classes, certifications, and training for staff. Ask how your child's teacher plans activities and how you can support that at home.
Days here follow a steady rhythm. Children move between group time, play, meals, and rest. Teachers plan activities around what each age can do, then adjust as children grow.
